WRITING
David Andrews is a writer based in the city of Brighton, United Kingdom. Following a long career as a reporter/editor on many prominent UK national newspaper and magazine titles, David founded David Andrews Media Ltd (DAM Ltd), a successful media consultancy in 2005.
David has written and edited a wide variety of published work, more recently enjoying a growing reputation for his travel, observational and photo-journalism.
Ernest Hemingway, Cormac McCarthy , Evelyn Waugh, WG Sebald, Graham Greene, Harold Pinter, Tom Wolfe, Thom Jones and Raymond Carver are all significant influences on David’s writing style.
His collection of short stories for Amazon e-readers, thematically based on war-torn Europe in the first half of the twentieth century – Ghost Runners of the White Mountains – was published in 2017.
